FAQ

Who makes a good candidate?

We are looking for athletes and coaches who exemplify the motherhood journey as it intertwines with their career path, and who are open to sharing their experience. Visibility alone is a narrative shifting impact!

How will the grant amount be determined?

The grant amount will be defined by the anticipated involvement from the candidate.

For the 3 grantees receiving up to $4000, our number one goal is to make sure you are able to succeed in your career and have the resources to financially support aspects related to motherhood that are not often supported (childcare, for example). In a way, these grants are similar to previous Family Support Grants. The only added expectation is that grantees join our Athlete Advisory Council (see below).

What is the Athlete Advisory Council?

Grantees on our Athlete Advisory Council will be our go-to humans as we continue to identify the invisible barriers related to motherhood in sports and examine solutions to shift the industry.

Time commitment is less than 1 hour / month in the form of email, surveys, round-table discussion or 1:1 interview.
