What are the requirements to join?
Your company leadership must commit to adopting contractual provisions supporting pregnancy and parenting into all new and renewed sponsored athlete contracts, regardless of gender, age, or family structure.
While we have provided suggested language in our Model Sponsorship Contract Provisions for Pregnancy and Parental Leave based on extensive research, we recognize that sponsors have their own unique relationship with athletes and contractual obligations that may dictate specific adjustments. While joining requires a commitment to incorporating supportive provisions, current policies that fit this requirement or a plan to work towards future policies with language tailored for your brand are acceptable with the condition that tailored provisions include the five essential elements for support as documented in the Overview for Sponsors.
